Zoroaster and His Fundamental Teachings

The religion known as Zoroastrianism and Zoroastrianism is one of the religions and beliefs discussed today in the world, especially in Turkey. Some circles, without knowing or researching the nature of this religion, attack and insult it and its holy book, Avesta, and present it as "esotericism". In some circles, again without knowing or researching, it is believed that this religion, which has been around for more than two thousand five hundred years, and the Avesta, which was written on 12 thousand ox hides, but after the disasters it has been through, only a short translation of about a quarter of it remains today, will be able to meet the needs of the 21st century. They think it is a religion and a book. The present study, which was prepared on the basis of first-hand original Zoroastrian and Islamic sources, was carried out in order to give the owners of these two different approaches the opportunity to make a new and healthy evaluation about Zoroaster, Avesta and Zoroastrian doctrine. In the introduction of the study, first-hand original Zoroastrian and Islamic sources are introduced. In the first part, Zoroaster, Avesta and basic teachings were examined according to Zoroastrian sources, and in the second part, according to Islamic sources. In the second part, Zoroastrian Pages from Islamic History and comparative Zoroastrian and Islamic readings on some basic issues are included.
