Zen Stories
Sabitalem District is a neighborhood consisting of six streets, each resembling a slide, located parallel to each other, and green, lime, brick, urine yellow, pink and often stucco colored slums lined up on both sides of these streets, and no one knows its population except God. When viewed from the top floors of the skyscraper facing the hillside, the neighborhood resembles the water parks of the "all-inclusive" hotels in the summer areas, with children, young and old, running up and down the streets.
The flower that blooms like a goddess in the middle of the garbage surprises the neighborhood residents. The “Anatolian Tiger” asks his children angrily: Are you the child of a worker or the child of a boss? Absurd things are happening between the retired woman from Fiskobirlik and the young man addicted to social media. The black and white tabby cat is spinning around as if caught in a small whirlpool. The country boy runs away from the "PLASURE EROTIC SHOP" crying. Insects are invading the Hero Group of Companies...
Eyüp Aygün Tayşir appears with a story book for the first time after his much-loved novels 4 Houses 1 Delivery and Oddities Factory. In his unique, enchanted style, he tells stories that blend joy and sadness.
Sabitalem Mahallesi is a book of stories dating back to the 1990s and showing that our stability in the country has never changed.
