Noise of Time

With the Russian proverbs used as leitmotifs, the composer's obsession with the "leap year", his understanding of fate that can be both farce and tragedy, his mother and the women in his life, various funny musician anecdotes, the image of the "Great Leader" Stalin, who constantly called him to the "right" path of folk art. The text, which is woven with many other striking elements, offers the reader a unique reading experience. So let's ask ourselves Dmitri Sostakovich's observation once again: "Is Art really the whisper of History heard above the noise of Time?" If so, "What can be done against the noise of time?"
