Wells' short novel, The Time Machine, which he wrote based on a story he first published in the school newspaper, has been one of the leading works of science fiction since 1895. This dystopia, loaded with political references and making deep observations in order to both imagine the future and show the character of the scientist, has been dragging us for years after a fantasy that we still cannot realize. This new edition of The Time Machine, translated into Turkish by Volkan Gürses, is enriched with one of the important articles of academician Patrick Parrinder, known for his studies on the history of the novel and HG Wells.
