Yoz Davar
Musa, who left his village to earn his living and came to work as a shepherd in the Anatolian steppes, is a diligent shepherd who does not shy away from trouble and is loyal to his word. Its sole purpose is to deliver the cattle that have been 'sent to milk' to their owners in the best possible condition. However, the pastures of the village where he came for six months are scarce and the grass is insufficient, and Musa finds himself in the middle of the competition between the two lords of the village. Even though he wants to stay away from the war of the lords, the shepherds of the other side will not allow this and will do their best to not give Moses and his flock any peace.
The superhuman effort made by Moses to fulfill his mission with all his might appears before the reader as an exemplary story. The concepts of honor, labor and responsibility, which are about to be forgotten today, come to life again in The Corrupt Cattle with the cattle shepherd Musa, who does not remain silent in the face of injustice and does not compromise on his honesty.
Talip Apaydin, in his usual simple style, conveys a shepherd's struggle for honor and humanity and the relationship between humans and nature in an extremely realistic language, while also showing that he never loses hope for humanity.
