Yazidism
Yazidism, which has a closed social structure and has been able to protect itself and its social structure against the winds of change coming from outside for centuries, is one of the sects most affected by the change brought about by globalization, just like Druze and Nusayrism.
In fact, the ability of Yazidism and other ethno-religious structures to maintain their existence and their unique religious rituals was directly related to the fact that they lived in remote areas that were closed to external interventions throughout history. In such structures, where the mythological/legendary mind was dominant and religion was perceived and practiced within the framework of a secret understanding, time passed very slowly and there was a great resistance to change.
This work deals with the process of the Yazidi belief until today.
