Kemal Tahir's novels "Yediçınar Yaylası," "Köyün Kamburu" and "Büyük Mal", which form a trilogy and take place in the Çorum area, tell the true face of property relations, landownership and banditry movements that changed in accordance with social developments in society, within the circles of three different generations, from the declaration of Tanzimat to Atatürk's death. In these novels, full of the creativity and genius unique to Kemal Tahir, it is seen that a great language machine is produced, in Tanpınar's words, by making use of traditional folk tales and storyteller narration, with the ingeniously stylized Çorum dialect.
