Jewish State
Back Cover Article (From the Promotional Bulletin)
Theodor Herzl, who organized Jews around the idea of a Jewish State, wrote the following words in his diary on September 3, 1897, just a few days after the first Zionist congress held between August 26 and 29, 1897: “No matter what anyone says, I was a Jew in Basel, Switzerland, a few days ago. I laid the foundations of the state. These days, the whole world may be laughing at me about the congress, but maybe after 5 years, or 50 years at the latest, the whole world will witness that this has happened.”
Yes... The year was 1897 when Herzl wrote this note in the diary he kept regularly every day.
The state of Israel was founded in 1948. That is, 51 years later.
Herzl's prediction, which could only be described as a "utopia" at that time, had a margin of error of only 1 year.
Despite the two world wars that broke out after 1987, this great politician was wrong only one year.
The first prime minister of the State of Israel, David Grün Ben-Gurion (1886 - 1973), said the same in one of his speeches: “We Jews worked 24 hours a day to establish the State of Israel. "Muslims need to work 25 hours a day to destroy this state of ours."
