A "witness of time" from the master essayist Uğur Kökden, who challenges the passage of time with his pen, about the years from the first quarter of the 1900s to the first quarter of the 2000s: From hazy Anatolian photographs dating back to the beginning of the century to the Istanbul of the 1930s, from the courtyards of free boarding houses to the Paris cafes, courthouses This subtle "resume", which moves from corridors to train compartments, from prisons to magazine offices, from Baghdad to Mecca, from Lausanne to Africa, builds strong bridges between yesterday and today, while also tracing a polyphonic world that comes to life in different geographies.

“At that time, the only vitality of small rural stations was the young people selling water, ayran or bagels. However, you could come across people selling sausage and bread in big stations, and even people selling head and trotters, as happened to us in Sivas. As in Europe, book and newspaper sellers with wheelbarrows did not yet exist in our country. On the other hand, read newspapers, magazines and books were being thrown from the train windows at the stations! They were swarming over them! This interest increased as we moved from Central Anatolia to the East. It can be said that the people outside were in a reading rush more than those on the train.”

Bulunmayan kitapların bulunduğu, kaliteli hizmetin adresi, ender bir kitapevi...İsminin kürtce olması da ayrıca sebeb-i tercîhim...
