The Universal Misery of International Social Security

Prof. Dr. In Mesut Gülmez's comprehensive study titled The Universal Misery of International Social Security, International Social Security, one of the important branches of International Social Policy; It is addressed with an interdisciplinary approach, with its legal, policy and practice dimensions. Social insurance, social security, social protection, etc. concepts, understanding, law and policies are examined critically within the framework of a proposed "rights"-based periodization. In addition to the International Labor Organization, which made the first regulations in the centuries-old evolution and continues to be the "flagship" of the field, developments within the framework of the United Nations and the Council of Europe are also examined with a "human rights" approach within the framework of the three-period evolution model.
