The subject of this study is not the religion of Islam, but the Islamic formations and Islamic movements in Turkey. In the study, we examined not the religion of Islam, but how this religion was used by different classes in the class struggle. A scientific classification of Islamic movements in Turkey was made, and a clarity was achieved in the concepts related to the subject. It's hard to say. The Islamist movement has not been discussed or examined sufficiently in our country. In this study, we examined the Islamic formations in Turkey after 1960 in three main groups on a class basis. We tried to reveal the ways in which these groups understood, interpreted and used the religion of Islam. Islamism emerged mainly after the second half of the 19th century, in the Islamic world that was completely colonized by the West. In this study, we tried to reveal the class differences within the Islamic segment and highlight the oppositional understandings within this segment, although the conciliatory, collaborative, left-wing, and hostile sides of the communities have been more dominant so far. We put a lot of emphasis on it.

The Islamist movement has not been discussed or examined sufficiently in our country. In this study, we examined the post-1960 Islamic formations in Turkey in three main groups on a class basis. We tried to reveal the way these groups understand, interpret and use the religion of Islam. Islamism was an ideology that emerged mainly after the second half of the 19th century, in the Islamic world that was completely colonized by the West. In this study, we tried to reveal the class differences within the Islamic segment and highlight the opposing understandings within this segment. While the conciliatory, collaborative, hostile sides of the communities have been more dominant so far, we have placed more emphasis on the oppositional sides within the Islamic movement.
