In this work, which examines in detail the period from the establishment of the Turkish Hearths in 1912 to 1931, the year when they were closed, Füsun Üstel discusses the understanding of Turkism that dominated the Turkish Hearths in the first period, hars nationalism and the Turanism policy developed around the Ocaks, and the Turks who were reorganized during the Republic period. It tells the story of the nationalism advocated by the Ocakları taking shape once again, this time in line with the ideology of the newly established state.
