Uyumsuz Defne Kaman'ın Maceraları-Toprak
Journalist Defne Kaman, who was investigating the theft of a major historical artifact from the Hittite period in Çorum, disappears. The deer guarding the ancient Hittite ruins Yazılıkaya, where the journalist woman was last seen, began to spread from word to mouth in Çorum like a legend.
As the incident escalates, Karaca, who claims to be the city's governor, police chief and Turkey's first eco-hacktivist, begins to work diligently to find Defne Kaman alive. Meanwhile, young people united with the hashtag #DEFNEKAMANNEREDE on social media and set out to Çorum to protest.
TOPRAK invites the reader to a gripping adventure in Anatolia on the trail of a lost journalist, while also embodying our ancient Kamanlik (Saman) tradition. He also continues his search for psycho-mythological memory so that we can remember that he respects ETHICS AND RIGHTS.
The myths of the 'lower world' represented in Turkish mythology and the mother womb of our planet; SOIL, which is the home of all living things from seed to human, also offers the reader an ecological subtext in this novel.
