The Kurdish translation of Gâvur Mahallesi, the author's first book in Turkish and his best-known work, is presented to the readers. This book, which is a translation of the book titled Mer Ayt Goğmerı (Our Places), which won the Eliz Kavukçuyan-Ayvazyan Literature Prize (Paris-France) in 1988, given to writers writing in Armenian, offers one of the most vivid descriptions of a Diyarbakır that has become history today in literature. .
