Attic
We have some belongings, at first we can't bear to throw them away and put them in the attic, but then we forget. In order to look for something that we vaguely remember and believe will be useful to us, we open the rusty lock of the attic and find all our old belongings from a long life there, beautiful and ugly, joyful and sad. ... Whatever we touch in this half-lit and dusty place, where we immediately enter to buy something and leave, it greets us with a smiling face and without us even realizing it, our time passes quickly, leaving the taste of distant memories on our minds. After a while, we no longer know exactly what we are looking for, and whatever we touch there, we encounter a memory and touch a different scene. Some of the items that seem familiar to us from somewhere are worn out, while others still look brand new. In fact, there is a direct connection between its innovation and our sense of ownership. Some of us even measure it with its antique value or, contrary to human reality, even begin to find it more valuable than before because it has resisted the passage of time. At such times, the attic seems precious to us like chests of treasures, and we realize that we have never experienced such an exciting pleasure as opening the lids of those chests. Every piece of it is a new civilization, every piece of it is an old culture. The painful days of the attic and the time that went astray there are falling away from us one by one, and we return to life as vigorous and refreshed as if we had found an elixir. Our journey through the dim and dusty corridors of history lives with a bittersweet smile on our lips for a few times, and over time, it disappears from our lives like a ship disappearing on the horizon...
