Sineklerin Tanrısı
"Lord of the Flies" tells the story of a handful of school children who were stranded on a deserted island during an atomic war, and how they move away from all the civilized customs of the world they came from and reveal a terrible truth at the basis of human creation. This novel, whose plot begins in the paradise-like environment of a unique coral island like RM Ballantyne's Coral Island, develops in a completely different direction from the emotional optimism of the Coral Island in order to reveal the roots of the collapse in contemporary societies in human creation. "Lord of the Flies" explores the darkness hidden in the heart of civilized man; It is more reminiscent of Conrad's novella "Heart of Darkness". While the children in Golding's novel initially want to establish an exemplary order away from the pressures of civilized society, just like Kurtz, they gradually become animalistic and take on a scary personality. In this respect, the most important point where Lord of the Flies differs from Coral Island and other deserted island adventures is that it tries to reveal a human condition through the conflict between individuals, rather than describing the difficult difficulties or happiness of deserted island life.
