Şin - 1926 ve 1934 Kürt Sürgünleri
SHIN
This work expresses the silent mourning that we have kept in our pain for a century, the Kurdish Exiles that began in 1926 and 1934, and the desolation of hundreds of thousands of women and children.
This story, which goes to the root of the chaos, refugees, statelessness and problems that are sweeping the world today in Mesopotamia and the Middle East, seeks the answer to why the ancient Kurdish people could not establish a unity in Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria and how they were ignored.
Based on a true life story, the book focuses on many important events and figures, starting from Sheikh Said's son Sheikh Ali Riza, to the ruler of Iranian Kurdistan Simko, the ruler of Iraqi Kurdistan Barzanis, King Sheikh Mahmud Barzanji, Sheikh Sayyid Abdulkadir's nephew Sheikh Sayyid Taha and the Hoybun Society, and tells the story of Kurdish history. Speaking of Kurdish history, the adventure we have embarked on has always touched on the stories of innocently murdered women and children throughout human history, and has also witnessed the suffering of anonymous witnesses.
This geography reflects the suffering that has emerged as a result of people living on the same lands for centuries being separated from their roots and culture. The deaths, tortures and hardships that continue today are a historical continuation of this story. This novel draws a portrait of forgotten exiles, bloody tears and cultural ruptures, while also emphasizing the impossibilities that the Kurds have found themselves in throughout history and the betrayals they have experienced among themselves.
We must not forget; if we have not learned a lesson from our past, "History repeats itself."
