What is meant by literary education is a student who evaluates poetry through familiar "form" techniques and focuses only on rhymes, rhymes, and the movement of sounds; It is an attitude that highlights certain themes and ideas in the poem even after the so-called formal examination has been made. This is not an acceptable logic or strategy for Eagleton. In order for poetry criticism, which is an indispensable component of literary criticism, to recover, first of all, existing strategies must be criticized and abandoned. Poetry criticism, in the sense of giving meaning to poetry on a broader level of discourse and considering its relevance to history, politics and philosophy, constitutes an indispensable pillar of literary activity, and literary criticism should never compromise on this pillar.
