Sen Bana Bakma Ben Senin Baktığın Yönde Olurum

The book You Don't Look at Me, I Follow the Way You Look, published by Yapı Kredi Publications, and the CD accompanying this book consist of recordings of Özdemir Asaf's daughter Seda Arun recording her father's voice. In these recordings, there are Özdemir Asaf's poems that we will listen to in his own voice and an interview on Istanbul Radio.

Poet Özdemir Asaf's daughter, Seda Arun, explains in the foreword of her book "Don't Look at Me, I Will Follow the Way You Look" published by Yapı Kredi Publications, how she brought up the marriage proposal to her father, his reaction and the story of recording the poems with the following words: "It's been five years." That May evening, my father came to my mother's house in Caddebostan. We sat opposite each other at the table. Then my mother asked. My cheeks were red again, but he didn't give me his answer. " My mother brought the books to the table. My father pushed his glass of raki away from the books. I knew he was going to answer with poems. "

Journalist Doğan Hızlan, who wrote one of the forewords of the book, said about the book and the CD containing the poet's voice recordings: "If you have listened to many poems so far in the poet's own voice, you will understand how good a poetry voicer and reader Özdemir Asaf is and you will admire his poems and voice once again." "You will stay and evaluate it with a different perspective."

While the texts of Özdemir Asaf's poems, which he read theatrically by playing with his voice, were published, the last publication of Özdemir Asaf's collected poems, Flower Symphony (YKY, November 2008), was used. Although the poems were read in a different order, the order in the poet's books was followed when preparing for publication. In the CD, the words or lines that differed while the poet was reading were also shown as footnotes. The book and CD also include the poet's poems in Sen, Sen, Sen, The World Has Ran Out of My Eyes, Not Soft Things and In Front of a Door.
