Santa Esperanza
Santa Esperanza is a country consisting of three islands close to Georgia in the Black Sea. Georgians who settled in the Middle Ages, the Genoese who were engaged in trade, the Turks, descendants of the Ottomans who took over the islands at a later date, and the British, who took over the administration of the islands after the Crimean War in the 19th century, live in this country.
Set upon a utopia, Santa Esperanza is one of the most interesting novels written in recent years in Georgian literature, which has a very long history; perhaps the foremost. Countless events develop in this island country, but the events are told not in a certain chronological order, but through a playing card called Inti, which consists of 36 cards specific to Esperanza. For this reason, you do not have to read the book in the order you are accustomed to; you can start reading from any part; that is to say, by shuffling the cards (notebooks or sections), you can set up your own game (reading order). The doors of this dreamland are open to everyone and you can follow the dramatic history, sad songs, and legends of the islands by reading the novel as if you were playing a game. When you finish the book with this reading order,
you may have read 1 long novel, 4 novels, 9 long stories or 36 short stories.
