Said-i Nursi did not carry the Kurdish identity in the category of "well-intentioned neglect" and undertook the duty of ambassador on behalf of his nation, under the pressure of different governments, from the Ottoman to the republic. However, Nursi's well-known biographies have not revealed this aspect of him in the way it deserves. This situation sometimes resulted from others hiding Him and sometimes from Him hiding himself politically. For both reasons, a monograph on Nursi's Kurdishness must have a method that is based on records and requires sensitive analysis. For this very reason, Zınar did not tell this story solely based on the detection of a documented image. He proposes a theoretical and methodological reading in order to touch the reality of Said-i Nursi through his discourses and practices textualized under oppression conditions. He presented this thesis by taking into account even the simplest and clearest statements, which are the reason for political determinations about Nursi, in terms of time, place, position and addressee. These four different angles he looked at took the work beyond being an ordinary biographical study consisting of a series of cases and placed the story within the framework of anecdote-thought, action-theory. The Lost Treatise of Kurdishness is a tool of revelation and reminder to open eyes, to catch the biographer red-handed in his geopolitical determinations that do not comply with the reality of Said-i Nursi, to tear down the rotten wall built between him and his own nation that is subject to racism, and then to lift the thin veil of his own sentences woven with purpose and caution.
