Shahname is the poetic epic of Ferdowsi, the leading poet of Iranian literature, telling Iranian legends. Shahname, written over a period of 30 years, was written in the 10th century and contains narrations about the history of Iran that continued until the time it was written. For this reason, Shahname has become one of the important works that glorify the Ottoman dynasty. Shahname also has a significant impact on the establishment of Divan literature.
