Robinson Crusoe - Hasan Ali Yücel Klasikleri-Ciltli Kitap
Daniel Defoe (1660-1731) was born into a wealthy family in London. After a good academic education, he went into business. After a difficult and adventurous business life, he started writing with political satires. After a daring journalism career and highly acclaimed didactic works, he wrote the novel Robinson Crusoe, which placed him at the forefront of world literature, at a relatively late age. In this immortal work, Defoe masterfully tells the story of Robinson Crusoe, who struggles to survive on a deserted island after a shipwreck. The author, who knows human nature very well, manages to create a hero from whom every reader can find something in every period of human history, with his powerful pen and simple style. Defoe, who wrote many works on various subjects, is considered one of the founders of the English novel.
