Falsification of Risale-i Nur

This book aims to ensure the internal integrity and discourse consistency of Risale-i Nur . In other words, each argument of this study and the evaluation and presentation of the results of the arguments remind us of a different discourse and conclusion. No matter how different the basic common character of the material put forward in this study appears, its most important feature serves the same common purpose. No matter how right or wrong this book is, we can say that it has a compact originality, although it is not unique in its field. This book has several purposes. First: It emphasizes the necessity of a conceptually new analysis and theory of the studies on Risale-i Nur, which have cultural, legal and political dimensions, and also the need for a new History of Life. Second: It draws attention to the need to establish a new framework for the research and writings on Risale-i Nur. Third: To compare the current political and discursive claims produced by today's Risale-i Nur communities and publications in the name of Risale-i Nur with the originality of the Risale-i Nur text, to criticize the text and thus to analyze the power relations in its fragmented, different parts and those that determine their internal and external structural powers. Opening the past and present to discussion by a committee, as put forward by , draws attention to the need to combine the existence and history of the elements that are the movement area of the text through the original copies. Examining the text means touching the nature of Risale-i Nur . Text-based analysis is also the guarantee that we can realize the scientific mentality by overcoming the ideological orientations that dominate the world of culture and thought. Investigating the authenticity of the text, clarifying and formulating it is only possible by re-reading the Risale-i Nur. There is an important point that catches our eye when examining the distortions made in the treatises: We can say that the interpretations of Turkish cultural codes have been applied to the text by grafting method, even more than Risale-i Nur's own cultural emphasis. This claim of ours is discussed extensively in the book and is based on numerous examples. It is noticeable that Turkish culture has made its own - albeit implicit - understanding dominant through various interpretation methods and has dominated the original text. Textual understanding and interpretations are not just an intellectual journey within the tradition, on the contrary, the lost dimension within the text should be investigated, defined and its legal status should be clarified. The timing that ultimately led to the creation of this book, as is known by the Turkish public, is the initiative of the Presidency of Religious Affairs to publish Risale-i Nur works. The first version of the book; It was reproduced in thirty copies in the form of "Report on the Distortions Made in the Risale-i Nur Collection ". The report was sent as a copy to institutions, publishing houses and relevant individuals.
