In the same year, Halil Serif Bey, whose wealth is legendary, shows the paintings of Delacroix, Courbet and Ingres, which he hangs on the walls of his house, to the Paris society. Osman Hamdi is also struggling to survive as a painter in this city that makes him dizzy. Namık Kemal settled in Paris with the ideal of introducing the Ottoman Empire to the concept of freedom. That very year, Ottoman Sultan Abdülaziz did what had never been done before and set off from Istanbul with his entourage and stepped into Paris... Here are stories from us in Paris of 1867!
