Mihail Yuryevich Lermontov (1814-1841), one of the leading representatives of Russian revolutionary romanticism, who died at the age of 27 in a duel he fought as a result of the provocations of people close to the palace, was under heavy pressure from the tsarist regime in Russia. and it yielded its fruits in a period when policies of violence were pursued ruthlessly. While Kanlı, Hacı Abrek, Bastunci Aulu, The Fugitive were inspired by the folk songs and fairy tales that Lermontov listened to in his childhood, the impressions he gained while in exile in the Caucasus, and real events, Culio, Pirate and Angel of Death reflect the Russian traveler who was overwhelmed by the harsh living conditions of the city and found salvation in nature. Tambov Treasurer's Wife, Saska and Fairy Tales for Children, where Russian rural life is told in a cheerful and witty language, are also examples of Lermontov's tendency towards realism. we would have a great poet who is the true defender of the people..."
