In this book, Hüseyin Siyabend Aytemur shows how complex and tightly interconnected the relations of historical information are, while explaining Sheikh Ubeydullah's struggle for Kurdistan, which left its mark on the late 1800s, together with its documents.

For example, while the beginning of the Kurdish problem is associated with the understanding of the nation state in Kurdish studies, the presence of European states for very different purposes is often ignored. At the same time, it can be understood from Sheikh Ubeydullah's resistance that concepts such as "national struggle, independence, unity, resistance" are actually just concepts used by their states to cover their games.

In other words, if land could be gained or defended by 'resisting' or 'fighting', we could witness that Sheikh Ubeydullah would be very capable of doing this in the eyes of the Kurds. If the reality of 'Independent Kurdistan' had been in line with the interests of the states that intervened in the geography of Kurdistan, many households would not have been devastated and Sheikh Ubeydullah would not have had to waste his life on this path.
