Morality and Law - Book Description in Terms of the Concept of Man and Values "Morality and Law" are two of the central concepts that primarily concern the total life of man, both as an individual and a social being, and more broadly, all humanity. What meaning the relationship between morality and law adds to human life and social order and what the nature and quality of this relationship should be has a nature that needs to be contemplated through theory and practice. The integrity of the individual's spiritual world, personality, behavior and practical life cannot be established without taking into consideration the concepts of morality and law. Therefore, the order, peace, welfare and security that must be ensured and maintained in social life, starting from the individual, cannot be considered separately from the concepts of morality and law. What lies at the basis of all of these is the concept of "justice", which cannot be considered separately from them, but should be integrated with them. Unless justice is understood as a value that must be applied regardless of the conditions, neither morality nor law can go beyond being a formal rule. For this reason, a supreme value such as justice can only attain its truth by applying morality and law as a whole. Therefore, the concept that gives meaning to the relationship between morality and law, gives it its soul, and therefore gives it life, is justice. However, first of all, the field where these concepts are realized and also the realizer is the human being. Human beings have the responsibility of being a being who will implement and maintain moral values through their attitudes and behaviors. A person not only behaves with his actions, but also explains his own law to those who are subject to his actions. This is possible by first knowing oneself, contemplating the meaning of values, and eventually developing an awareness of how one acts and how one should behave. The primary goal of this work is to examine morality and law in depth within the field of "Philosophy of Law". In order to form the basis of the study, first of all, the concept of human being and the values that are the reference point in understanding it were tried to be explained. Only then has it been discussed how the nature and quality of the relationship between morality and law should be understood; Criticisms have been made about where the views and thoughts that want to base humanity, morality and law on wrong foundations tend to go wrong. The main purpose here is not to immediately define the concepts of morality and law by putting them into a certain mold, but rather to open them up to intensive research, examination and discussions so that they can be understood and defined in a healthy way. That is why a certain morality and a certain legal system were not taken into consideration in the study, but an attempt was made to draw attention to where the basic values of man should be sought. Modernization of the Ottoman Courthouse Organization 1800-1850 Modernization of the Ottoman Court Organization 1800-1850 Book Description The 19th century was a period in which the Ottoman Empire accepted the superiority of the West, both with its institutions and with its way of thinking and life.
