The Myth of the Middle Class Book Description The aim of the book in your hand is to remove the "middle class" issue from being a legend or a myth. "Class" is one of the most important concepts of the ideological struggle. The ideology of the middle class is the ideology of classlessness. Therefore, even a struggle over the term "class" alone has special value. This book was written to add strength to this struggle. In this book, the middle class petty bourgeoisie is placed not only in a theoretical but also in a historical context. In the first chapter, while the theoretical foundation of the book is laid, the story of the evolution of bourgeois society into capitalist society, of the bourgeoisie into the capitalist class, and of the petty bourgeoisie taking the "middle class" position at the end of this process is told. The section "Trends and Classes in Current Capitalism" examines the problems of the disputed border region. In the last section, the petty bourgeois middle class, both traditional and new, is discussed in the context of its place in production relations, "new" middle class theories, and the ideological formation and influence of the middle class.
