Atatürk's famous work, Speech, which is of great importance for our recent history, was translated once again from Arabic letters years later. This long-term translation process also revealed various errors that existed in the 1934 edition of the work and have survived to the present day.

The Great Speech, which was read by Mustafa Kemal Pasha himself at the Republican People's Party congress between 15-20 October 1927, was translated into Latin letters from the 1927 edition after two years of work and published by Yapı Kredi Publications.

The text of the first edition of Nutuk in Arabic letters was 627 pages and its documents were 303 pages. The first publication in Latin letters in 1934 was made in three volumes, including documents, and the Ministry of National Education published the work mostly in three volumes in subsequent editions. The entire edition, published by Yapı Kredi Publications Delta Series, was collected in a single volume on 1197 pages, and the 10 color maps in the original were also added.

The translation of Speech, published by Yapı Kredi Publications, was made from the original edition dated 1927. For this reason, the erroneous readings in the first Latin alphabet edition of the work in 1934 and the errors made in subsequent editions based on this edition have been corrected with this publication by Yapı Kredi Publications. Yapı Kredi Publications is now producing a publication, which will be known as the "Yapı Kredi Publications edition", for researchers, scientists and those who will always read Nutuk.
