Ahmet Mithat Efendi and Behçet Necatigil. Great names of other centuries: Two very productive writers, one of the Tanzimat years, the other of the Republic years. Even when his adjectives are lined up side by side, a great intellectual photo emerges: Writer, poet, journalist, publisher, teacher, translator. This time there are two "firsts": Müsâhedat, simplified by Necatigil and adapted into a radio play, meets the reader for the first time.

This is an exciting "discovery" no matter how we look at it!
