Mozart - Ciltli Kitap
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) learned to play the keyboard and violin from the age of three by watching his musician father give lessons to his talented older sister. Realizing that his son could gain income and status by displaying his genius, his father organized long trips to almost all countries in Europe as a family company. Six-year-old Mozart and his older sister demonstrated their talents to emperors, kings, nobles, the rich and the public; Even the pope watched the “little musical genius” Mozart play the keyboard with his eyes closed. While the family enjoyed the company that provided income to finance their noble lifestyle for years, Mozart received the education that would nourish his genius from his father and the European musical environment he was in. He wrote his first minuet at the age of five, and by the time he was ten he had composed five symphonies.
The son's duty is to rebel against the father when the time comes. It was difficult and painful for Mozart to leave the family company and gain his independence. His father, who used every means at his disposal, both material and spiritual, tried to prevent his son from marrying the woman he wanted to marry and settling in Vienna, the musical paradise. The future he offered her was to live in the city where he lived and to do what he did and join a nobleman. After many struggles, Mozart would declare his freedom, marry his beloved Constanze, live in Vienna, and produce most of his works, which made him one of the greatest names of classical music, in this environment where he spent the last ten years of his short life.
Mozart gifted us more than six hundred wonderful compositions in his thirty-five years of life, including operas such as The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, The Magic Flute, and Cosi Fan Tutte. He has a Requiem that he cannot finish. He used the Turkish theme in his works titled "Turkish March" and "Turkish Concerto" and in the operas Abduction from the Seraglio and Zaide. He is one of the names that shaped symphony, concerto, chamber music, opera and choral music with his works that are among the peaks of these genres.
Mozart, who was praised as the little musical genius of his age in his childhood, is today remembered as the great musical genius of all ages.
