Meryema Gewdan
The author, who overcomes the captivity of the system with words and meets with people and women's reality behind the closed doors of the prison, immortalizes the inner traces of her 16-year captivity in books with the power of her pen. While discussing the resistance in her life and the cultural codes of the society she identifies with, the author first starts with the reality of women. In her book, the author discusses her mother and the position of Kurdish women in society and her approach to women.
In his book, the author treats Maryam as a woman whom he mythologizes in his mental world. The woman the author liberates in her words sometimes becomes a mountain and a road, and sometimes becomes Christ. With the deep meaning in the sentence "Every man waits for the woman as the Messiah of love", it directs the reader to the love of truth and struggle and makes the reader ask questions about the ties between God and man and again between God and woman. The author brings his different style and fiction to the reader.
