Verses of the Angel
Writer Mahmut Baran is a writer from Diyarbakır who is sentenced to life imprisonment. In his novel Angel's Verses, he describes in an epic language the great love of his heroes, who set out with great ideals, and their endless and selfless devotion to the revolution. It successfully describes Erdal's romantic revolutionary resistance while in custody, his faith in the struggle for freedom and his love for Rûken without any deviations, with excitement, without slowing down his sense of curiosity and narrative tempo.
