Med History and Culture

This book is about the most severe conditions of the September 12 Military Coup. It was written under the conditions of Diyarbakır Prison No. 5. In the face of the military government, which used its repressive devices to intimidate and force the prisoners into submission, the will of the prisoners, who sought their attitudes and attitudes, was hidden in the traditions of resistance. At the same time, it required re-evaluating the historical heritage with ideological criteria. "What kind of heritage are we the owners of?" The question was of crucial importance in the prisons as well as in the general revolutionary field. The dualistic character of the legacy made identity inferences that told people what they were not as much as what they were, in this sense, the identities they were not would be power-sovereign forces. To understand the character of the roots was to understand the present. In this sense, the work titled "Med History and Culture" is a powerful work that can give the best answers to the questions of "What kind of resistance should be highlighted" and "What kind of lifestyle should be", both in the conditions of that day and today, against the dominationist and ruling mentalities. It can easily be said that it maintains its feature of being an important historical document full of messages.
