"Marxism is long dead, communism was nothing but a utopia, and history ended with the wall dividing Europe in two." This book was written to oppose this understanding, which has been defended for years by the ideologists of postmodern capitalism. The authors emphasize that the claim that Marxism has collapsed along with all the values it evokes for humanity is the right time to talk about communism and that this need has never been felt so acutely before. They think that beyond the lived and politically consumed Marxism, there is still a Marxism waiting to be examined. But there are also warnings.
