Which works should we start with to learn Marxism? How should one read Marxist classics in order to understand and interpret them correctly? This is a subject that is asked with curiosity and is always discussed. Neither the question nor the discussions on this subject are irrelevant. Because Marxism is an unlimited, versatile, complex wealth that embraces all areas of life and is completed with revolutionary practice. It is not easy for readers to find their way in this huge Marxist literature.
As an original work that puts these questions on its agenda, the Marxist Classics Reading Guide aims to be a reference book for Marxism readers at all levels.

In this book, which brings together competent Marxist theorists from Turkey and the world, twenty works of Marx, Engels and Lenin, the founding and developing theorists of Marxism, are introduced and evaluated by twenty different authors. In these articles, the birth climate of Marxist classics, their content, their relationship with other classics, their effects, and their importance for today are brilliantly evaluated. Thus, while a priority reading list is recommended to the reader, a guide is also given on how to read these works. The articles written by the authors for this book are presented with an introduction by Taner Timur, one of Turkey's leading Marxist writers.
