
Library Treatise Sheikh Said Efendi
Abdulilah Fırat (Grandson of Sheikh Said Efendi), who prepared the book and translated it from Arabic, records the following in the introduction: “This book is a treatise written by Sheikh Said Efendi about the books in his library. This pearl-like work is the first treatise written about the books in his personal library in the Kurdistan region. The books of Sheikh Said Efendi mentioned in this work, located in the central madrasah of Hınıs and the madrasah in Kolhisar village, were occupied and destroyed by the regime of the period after the uprising.
Sheikh Said Efendi wrote a catalog and a biographical treatise index in Arabic letters, written in Arabic, Persian, Ottoman and other languages, about the books he collected in his library. Unfortunately, one copy of the four-volume library treatise, which is very detailed and scholarly, came into our hands through İsmail Hoca, the grandson of the late Sheikh Hüsameddin Efendi Tillovi, who was Sheikh Said Efendi's neighbor in Hınıs.
Sheikh Said Efendi taught the subjects of Sufism, Hilâfiyat, Jihad, Sharia Sciences, Usual Religion, Usual Fiqh, Literature, Syntax, Syntax, Dictionary, Logic, Promise, Maani and Statement books, many divans of the poets, Sira, history, magazine, whose names were not heard in the madrasahs of Kurdistan during his time. He wrote and recorded the names, descriptions and introductions of the books, mevâiz, hikem, and the books consisting of commentaries, annotations and talismans in all kinds of sciences and sciences, which are appreciated by scholars, and belonging to many sciences, in order of importance, and recorded the names, tribes, names, tribes, names, tribes, names of the authors, ancestors, ancestors, He explained his birth dates and death dates in this four-volume work.
Unfortunately, we were only able to obtain the first volume of this four-volume work, and we are grateful for that.”
