Kuş Ölümlüdür Sen Uçmayı Hatırla-Bütün Şiirleri
Furûğ's poem, which boldly and freely reveals that love exists and can be experienced with all its beauty and destructiveness, is also the story of a young Iranian woman's "death" struggle to save her self and will from the oppressive patriarchal tyranny. In his poem, Ahmed Shamlu, one of the famous Persian poets, hails him as the poet who "accepted the flow of the wind and love, that is, the brother of death", and states that those who want to search for what remains of this young rebel should go to "the lodge of the mountain, the threshold of the sea and the grass". According to his contemporary Sohrâb Sepehrî, Furûğ is a great poet who "interprets" the most amorous emotions in the mirror of life, speaks in the "tree style" of love, goes to the borders of "nothing" and retreats behind the "sense of light", and leaves "us" alone with his absence. . This poem, which symbolizes a fierce resistance to the ideological, cultural and political resources of the system that oppresses women's lives at every level, not only affected Iranian women and segments of society, but also the egalitarian and libertarian universal declaration it contained created wide repercussions all over the world.
