Corporate Culture
The idea of examining organizations in terms of culture, which is the value system shared among individuals, is a relatively new concept. Organizations, just like individuals, have a culture and personality. Corporate culture, which can be defined as the basic values adopted by the institution or the common understanding and basic belief system shared by the members of the organization and in which everyone acts, adds a new dimension to this structure, beyond seeing the organization as a machine or a living organism. Today, many companies have understood that organizational efficiency can be achieved primarily with the philosophy of "People First" and a conscious and strong corporate culture. In this study, the author, who is an assistant professor at Ege University Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity, examined public relations management by examining the evolution of management theories, the classification of corporate cultures and the role of the leader in this context, the socialization processes of employees and the formal and informal communications occurring on an organizational basis.
