“Is that understood?” asked. "Understood!" we said. “It is understood, commander, you will say, it is understood, commander!” We didn't make a sound, they looked at each other and the sergeant nodded to the person next to him, the private shouted: "There's a beating situation!" We understand being beaten, but we don't know how to handle this "situation"! We are inside, they are outside and there are iron bars between us. But it didn't take long for us to learn, first we put our hands out over the bars, they hit us until they exploded, then we lay on our backs and put our feet out. The pain from my hands and feet, which had already been shattered in the evening, began to fill my brain again. We went through a falaka episode that continued until our screams were heard throughout the prison. Then they threw in the papers with a few anthems written on them and said: "These will be memorized in twenty-four hours, otherwise..." and left. This place was hell. This wasn't a prison or anything, it was just a camp.
