Ancient History of Kurds

​This study, which investigates the archaeological sites in the Kurdistan geography and the historical origins of the Kurdish people, is undoubtedly one of the most important studies in its field in terms of its thematic feature and adequacy of scope. Another thing that is undoubtedly true is that the period before Christ was a dark period for the Kurds as well as for every nation. This work is an effort to shed light on the dark history of the Kurds.

Kurdistan's geographical location and important archaeological sites; The relations of the ancient inhabitants of Kurdistan with the centers of civilization in Mesopotamia; ethnic, philological and religious changes; The traces left by the societies considered to be the ancestors of the Kurds in Kurdistan, the transformations they created and their relations with neighboring societies; Primitive lifestyle, livelihoods, wars and invasions in Kurdistan; the meaning of cave and rock paintings, sculptures and reliefs, cuneiform inscriptions; The emergence of Kurds on the stage of history and the origin of the name Kurd; Religious beliefs of Kurds; The interaction of Kurdish language, literature and culture in the historical process and the transformations they experienced constitute the reference points of the work.
