I took great pleasure in Kurdish folklore. The more I listened, the more impressed I was by this oral Kurdish literature. I found emotion, reason, philosophy and social perceptions in it. I tasted the bitter and sweet sides. The reluctant marriages - Mirazê bêdil - and the pleas of the young people here turned me upside down every time I listened to them. Those romantic discourses of the lovers astonished me. How to explain the romanticism of this backward agricultural society? It has its difficulties. I gradually realized the difficulties in transcribing oral literature and folklore. When I wanted to give the Turkish version of the folk songs, stories and discourses that reflect the thoughts, feelings and spiritual structure of the Kurdish society, I saw the difficulties of giving the same meaning and flavor. In addition, the agricultural and village society of the Kurds has also changed. What I am about to write has become, to some extent, a nostalgic past for them.
