Kurdish Mind

The absence of an independent and united state representing the ancient Kurdish Mind and civilization has left the Kurds facing great risks in the globalizing and digitalizing world. The wheels of occupation and exploitation have reached everywhere since the beginning of the twentieth century, and the Kurds, who previously protected their nature in their own habitats, have been completely unprotected against this wave. In this phase called the information and knowledge age, it is vital for the Kurdish Mind to take its place in the Kurdish consciousness. The Kurdishness, which has maintained its existence since the millennia when deep-rooted civilizations such as Sumer, Assyria, Babylon, Chaldea, Akkad, Lydia, and Hittite were wiped off the stage of history, has to develop maneuvers according to new conditions and trends, and continue to create a concrete individual whose mind has been opened, developed and shaped within the Kurdish culture by equipping the Kurdish Mind with digital opportunities; whose basic frame of reference is formed by this culture.

The Kurdish consciousness, which expresses itself through proverbs, has successfully expressed the center-periphery, local-universal reasoning and action relationship of Kurdishness with the saying "Bi dinyê bişêwire, bi aqlê xwe bike" (Consult the world, act with your mind). This is the consciousness that Kurdishness needs.
