To what extent will the globalization of capital change the future of the world or who will be the new actors of globalization? How will the emergence of new capital centers, new sharing take place, or what will be the alternative to global capitalism?

Arif Dirlik is one of the internationally respected writers and academics in the globalization literature. Globalization not only led to the solution of the problems created by capitalist modernization, but also to a seemingly permanent crisis, as the Cold War gave way to a multitude of endless hot wars. The loss of credibility of socialism as an alternative as it emerged in the last century has also created a crisis in radical consciousness. However, what we are witnessing is not the death but the restructuring of the social ideals and practices that make socialism attractive.
