Konuş ki Göreyim Seni: Radyo Oyunu Uyarlamaları-1

This book includes twelve adaptations of Behçet Necatigil, which were broadcast on radio between 1966 and 1977. Together with these works selected from various periods of our past literature, all of Necatigil's plays broadcast on radio, except for their translations, have been compiled into a book.

These plays, which are recorded from folk stories such as Kerem and Aslı, Melikşah and Güllühan, Tayyarzâde, as well as works adapted from writers such as Ahmet Mithat Efendi, Fatma Aliye, Aziz Efendi or Nâbizâde Nâzım, are also valuable as clues to see the sources from which Necatigil draws.

Necatigil, who sees the radio play as the genre closest to poetry, says that the radio play, which is well-constructed and has well-arranged dialogues, is an interpretation of poetry.

In the radio play, everything is seen through the ear, and the darkness is revealed and brightened not by burning lamps, but by conversations, internal monologues, voices and integrations in imagination.
