Kısa Yoldan Felsefe-Ciltli
Centuries ago, people lived an almost paradise-like life on earth. There were dangers and difficulties, but it was not uncommon for anyone to die from arguing. Then suddenly the joyful days ended as if cut with a knife, and the romantic hours spent by the campfire singing, dancing, mouthing and burping came to an end; because sectarians such as Thales, Aristotle, Plato and Lao Tzu emerged and wanted to think about things other than the necessities of daily life. Their slogan was: Life is not just for living, life also needs to be explained.
Philosophy in a Short Way is a little different from the introduction to philosophy or short history of philosophy books. It deals with the worldly wisdom of thinkers along with their lives behind their thoughts. As such, we end up with a book that is enjoyable to read, never boring, and quite entertaining. Zittlau brings us together with wise men not only from the Western world but also from the Far East. He tells in a humorous way about his friends and enemies, their relationships with women, their sex lives, their systems, the tricks they pulled and what they mean to us today. A book that can be read in one breath and will not be forgotten for a long time!
After studying philosophy, biology, sociology and sports in Düsseldorf, where he was born in 1960, Jörg Zittlau started working on lies and conflicts in the field of forensic psychology in 1986. Zittlau, who has written articles and books in the fields of science and philosophy, has been working as a freelance journalist in the fields of natural treatment methods, psychology and nutrition since 1992, in addition to writing. Zittlau, who is also a musician, has 60 books translated into 20 languages to date. Philosophy in a Short Way is the author's first book published in Turkish.
