Kırmızı Cuma - Dinkin Kalemini Kim Kırdı?
Nobel Prize-winning author Gabriel García Márquez tells the story of a murder that everyone knew would happen on Red Monday.
The murder of Hrant Dink is a murder that was known to happen, and was even condoned and tried to be covered up. But it's not a story, it's reality. The Trabzon police knew that Dink would be killed, the Istanbul police knew, the Police Intelligence Department, the National Intelligence Organization and the Gendarmerie also knew. In fact, Hrant Dink was also aware of the approaching danger. And on Friday, January 19, 2007, at 14.57, the killer shot him in the back of the neck. The blood that painted the Şişli pavement red created our "Red Friday".
Instead of being clarified, the murder case is obscured by fake evidence.
Those at the head of the state stand behind those responsible for the murder, instead of protecting his life and his rights after his death, and holding him accountable for the bullet fired at his freedom of expression and thought.
And this book actually questions the role of all state institutions in the Dink murder.
Author Nedim Şener aims to contribute to the enlightenment of the murder, which was tried to be covered up, with his book Red Friday - Who Broke Dink's Pen, after his book Dink Murder and Intelligence Lies, with new documents and witnesses.
"Red Friday" is still bleeding... While passing by Agos in Şişli, see Hrant Dink's lifeless body still lying on that sidewalk.
