I saw the pain. I saw the iris growing like a flower in the middle of his eyes, first contracting slowly, and then suddenly bursting out like a scream. I saw trembling lips, faces turning to wax, sunken cheeks, widening cheekbones, eye sockets deepening like caves, tongues turning to jelly in dry mouths.

I realized that the moment we become aware of ourselves is the moment we writhe in the grip of pain.

Not a scream, not a shudder, yes, I heard that wild moan, I didn't know where it came from, deep in my heart. I was out of breath, my throat was dry, my forehead was on fire, I was dragged in that bottomless void as if I was caught in a strange dream. I faced life's darkest secret.

I went through every stage of darkness, I heard the sound of flowing blood, I felt the coolness of death in my veins.

I have already taken the hump of the past off my back.

I saw that first moment when man killed another, I heard the murderer's cry of victory and the victim's scream of fear.

I betrayed myself for years in order to suppress that magnificent urge that is ready to wake up at any moment, and not to return to the most innocent state and purest nature of humanity. I deceived the whole world along with myself. I almost succeeded but they didn't let go, they started killing in my name.
