Aristotle is the most prominent philosopher of ancient philosophy. It is accepted that only Plato could reach a similar level of philosophy in ancient times. Aristotle, who left his mark on ancient times, is considered by many to be one of the greatest philosophers of all ages. It is accepted by almost everyone that the number of people who can hope to compete with what he achieved in science and philosophy can be counted on the fingers of one hand. Aristotle wrote works in many fields such as logic, natural sciences, metaphysics, psychology, ethics and political philosophy. The body of works, called "Aristotle's corpus", consisting of 1462 pages originally in Greek, consists of the notes of his lectures taken by himself or his students. In Categories, which is one of Aristotle's texts on logic and consists of 15 chapters, the definitions of the concepts of synonymy, homonymity and connotation are explained, as well as the 10 most general expression types that still exist today. These; essence, quantity, quality, relativity, time, place, situation, position, effect and passive. In the text titled Propositions, which is written on the philosophy of language and consists of 14 chapters, he explains that propositions are statements that give true or false results and how to distinguish them from statements that give no results. It particularly touches upon the differences between positive-negative, general-specific propositions.
